She lived a long, happy and fulfilling life. She was 93. She was born Jan. 22, 1908 in Woods Cross, UT a daughter of James Henry and Effie Rose Howard. Married Robert H. Wallis, June 7, 1941. He died July 17, 1979. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
LaVaun is survived by her loving son, Keith Wallis, Palm Springs, CA, who has been a dedicated caregiver for the past 22 years, since the passing of his father; two granddaughters, Susan Wallis, Linda Wallis Morrison; two great-grandchildren, Sophia, Tyler; sister-in-law, Helen Howard (Wal-lace); nieces and nephews, Donna H. Nelson, Lila R. Hayden, Leon H. Richardson, all of Oregon, Dixie H. Gray-Liebelt, CA, Robert E. Howard, AK, June H. Allen, Myrna H. Goodfellow, Jacqueline R. Earl, Grant S. Larsen, Jr.; and a special friend and niece, Afton Harrison, all of UT.
Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, James, Harold, Wallace; and two sisters, Erma Larsen, Alta Richardson. Graveside services will be Wed. Aug 22, 2001, 12 noon at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Directors, Russon Brothers Mortuary, Bountiful, UT.
