Margaret Fitzwater married Newton Nichols and had the following children.
Jasper (died in his 30s) Benjamin F., Lydia Catherine, Felista Jane, Ella, Lola and Luther who died at age 18. The following children died in infancy, Laura, Millard, Etta and one unnamed.
Margaret Fitzwater Nichols died and Newtown Nichols married Virginia Bell Brown 5/3/1894 and had 1 daughter Donna. Newton married the third wife, Ellen Rhodes, and from this union the following children were born.
Kellas, Woodrow and John died early manhood.
