"Married August 15, 1931 - Vernon Wingfield Halstead, widowed, and Nancy Irene Capps, single - Vernon Wingfield Halstead, age 29, born in Princess Anne County, Virginia and residing in Munden [Princess Anne County], Virginia, occupation Game Warden, son of O.V. Halstead and his wife, Nora Ewell - Nancy Irene Capps, age 21, born in Princess Anne County, Virginia and residing in Munden [Princess Anne County], Virginia, daughter of N.C. Capps and his wife, Clara Caffee "

Clara was the daughter of J.T. Caffee and his wife, Caroline Moss.  Clara was born on August 19, 1884 in Knotts Island, Currituck County, North Carolina and she died May 3, 1941 in Fruitville, Currituck County, North Carolina.  She was buried in the "Family Cemetery" in Knotts Island, North Carolina.
