L. T. was born February 25, 1924 in Warrensburg, the son of John F. and Goldie L. (Andrews) Ross.
He graduated from College High School in Warrensburg in 1942.
He was married Virginia Rose Stapleton on December 31, 1943 in Warrensburg.
L. T. served in the United States Army during World War II.
Following his discharge from active duty, he was employed at Ross Road Construction and Boland Equipment at one time.
He also did interior house painting and wallpapering for several years. Later, he drove a truck for Wyatt Oil Company. More recently, he was a truck driver with Kaw Transport, retiring in 1986.
L. T. was a member of First Baptist Church in Warrensburg, American Legion Post #131 and Warrensburg Elks Lodge #673. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching his grandsons play and coach sports
