Rudolph D. Garrett, Sr., 77, of 2910 Terrell street, died in his home Tuesday morning. He had resided in this city since 1917. He was a carpenter-contractor. He was a native of Montecello, Miss. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harry Martin of this city, one son, W.T. Garrett of San Antonio, two sisters, Miss Dezzie Garrett on Montecello, Miss., and Mrs. May Allen, also of that town, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements in charge of Broussard's are incomplete.
