Mr. James A. Aaron, 79, of 105 Center St., Albany, Ky., son of the late Mr. E.S. Aaron and Mrs. Martha Barnett Aaron, was born in Clinton Co., Ky., March 22, 1896. He died at 5:30 p.m. March 14, 1976 enroute to the War Memorial Hospital in Albany, Kentucky. He had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Seventy-Six Baptist Church in Albany, Kentucky. He united in marriage to Miss Jessie Maurice Hancock. To this union eleven children were born. Four children died in infancy. Besides his wife, Mrs. Jessie Maurice Hancock Aaron of Albany, he is survived by four daughters and three sons: Mrs. John O. (Beatrice) Smith of Campbellsville, Mr. Ben Aaron of Greensburg, Mrs. Frances Barber of Albany, Mr. Brad Aaron of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Bonnie Floyd of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. George Aaron of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Miss Betty Aaron of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Emma Vincent and Mrs. Ethel Perdue, both of Albany, Kentucky, Mrs. Hazle Guthrie of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Mr. Roy Aaron of Angola, Indiana. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, at the First Baptist Church in Albany by Rev. Jenkins, Rev. Taylor, and Rev. Grant. Burial was in Albany City Cemetery.
