OBIT: William Bercher--
William Bercher, 78, Lynch Road, Marietta Rt.6, died at 1 p.m. yesterday in Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1873, in Washington County, a son of the late Albert and Mary Farnsworth Bercher. He married Hannah Adeline Kidd, who preceded him in death. Two sons survive, Glenn Bercher, San Antonio, Tex. and Lloyd Bercher, Cleveland. There are three grandchildren. Mr Bercher later married Clarice Decker, who is deceased. Two sons preceded him in death. Mr. Bercher was engaged in farming. He was a member of Lynch United Methodist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Doudna & McClure Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Henry officiating. Burial will be in Lynch Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. (Obituary: Marietta Daily Times, Thursday, May 13, 1971)
