Alberta Brant is remembered by me as a fun loving and caring person. She was a favorite cousin that I would see at family gatherings and reunions. Ocassionally she would stay at our home in Wayne, MI, on weekend visits. She made her living as a bookeeper and accountant. For a short stint she moved to Texas, where she lived with or near my sister Evelyn Carter in the Houston area, but eventually returned to Ohio missing her family there. Alberta died of age related health issues while living in an extended care facility. She was a devoted Christian lady and was always active in her church. I have nothing but good memories of Bertie.
