Abraham Orbin Butler, died at the age of 51 years on Saturday morning June 3, 1944 at a local hospital.

Abraham was born on October 29, 1892 in Weir, Kansas to Martha Jane (Gorley) and John William Butler. He was a veteran of WW1, were he served as a cook with Battery D, 130 field artillery, from July 23, 1917 to May 11, 1919.

Abraham was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Masonic Lodge at Weir, Kansa and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie; Seven children, Delvin, John Bonnie, Nellie Mae, Sadie Pauline and Thomas Butler, all of Walla Walla; his mother, Jennie Butler of Independence; Three brothers, Lester of Oak Grove, MO, Fred and Henry Butler of Independence, MO
