He was a member of the Mansfield Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Moslah Temple of Ft. Worth, and Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Fletcher Wammack and by daughter, Patricia Whitt.

Survivors: Wife of 23 yrs., Sue Wammack of Mansfield; daughter, Gloria Kelly, and husband, John Roy of Mansfield; 2 step-children, Ann Smith, and husband Ray, and Charles Nichols; 3 grandchildren, Doyle Kelly of Joshua, Doug Kelly of Alvarado, Tonya Cheek of Cleburne and step-grandson, Trey Smith; 7 great-grandchildren.
