Gwenna M. Doyle, 84, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Haltom Road Baptist Church. Interment: Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. A family luncheon will follow the service at the church.
Gwenna was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Henrietta to William and Gladys Jones Alexander. She lived in Wichita Falls, Iowa Park and Burkburnett for many years before settling in Fort Worth about 35 years ago. Gwenna worked for Southwestern Bell/ATT, retiring after 42 years of service. She was a member of Haltom Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 62 years, Thomas Doyle.
Survivors: Son, Richard Doyle and wife, Rebecca; daughter, June Ann Lane and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Kimberly Eddins, Christopher and Alex Doyle, and Kristi and Brandon Lane; and six great-grandchildren.
