He came to Kansas to visit his daughters and was stricken ill while visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose McKain of Minneapolis, gradually growing worse until he passed away on Thursday at 11 a.m., February 26, 1942 at the age of 68 years, 9 months, 12 days." per his obit.
