Evelyn Adams, 79, of Belmont, died Monday morning in St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born in Belmont, the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Webb Cantner. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Survivors include four daughters, Lucille Mikes of Pleasant City, OH, Maxine Davis of Chester, Ruth Menough of East Liverpool, OH, and Helen Evans of Belmont; one brother Carl Canter of East Palestine, OH; one sister Betty Nance of Dale City, VA (unreadable). She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Adams. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday at the Newport Cemetery.
