Burial Today For A. Richter
Last rites were scheduled today, Thursday, at 4 p.m. from the Seydler-Hill Funeral Chapel for Adolph H. Richter, who died at his home at 10 a.m. Monday.
The Rev. Cleve Wheelus of San Antonio, his son in law, officiated at the services with burial taking place in the W.OW cemetery.
Mr. Richter was born in Gonzales county on January 16, 1885, the son of Wilhelmina Anna Cook and Frederick Albert Richter, natives of Texas.
A general building contractor, he was a member of the Presbyterian church. He was preceded in death on September 16, 1966, but his wife, the former Myrtle Adams, the couple living at 1109 St. Peter Street.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Cleve (Ann) Wheelus of San Antonio; three sons,Clarence Richter of Alice, W. A. (Billy) Richter of Houston, and Marion Richter of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Richter of Corpus Christi; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Clara) Nuhn of San Antonio.
