Erica was only 7-years-old, standing 3'11" tall and weighing just 48 pounds when she was abducted on August 23, 1990. She was playing at her apartment complex playground when her father went inside for a brief moment. When he came back, Erica was gone. Searchers joined in to look for her and found her tiny body on August 25. She had been murdered and was found less than one mile from her home. Her killer has never been found. She was a precious little girl, loved by many, and deeply missed.
