Actress. Considerate by many one of the sexiest of the B-western heroine, Walters was the leading lady to more individual cowboy stars than any other B-western actress. She worked in more than 70 films over a period of 25 years and had scenes with Edward G. Robinson, Jean Harlow, Harold Lloyd, Charles Boyer and Loretta Young. Walters is fondly remembered with Bela Lugosi in "The Corpse Vanishes" (1942) and as 'Lara,' mother of Superman, in "The adventures of Superman." (1948) Walters died of fatty metamorphosis of the liver due to alcoholism.
