Funeral services for Jay Arthur Pack, 73, of Warner, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 4, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Warner with Reverends Lee Leatherman and Rick LaBounty officiating. Pallbearers will be Roscoe Duke, Russ Ward, Michael Burgess, Bob Watson, Floyd Durossette, and Dave Whitson. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery in Porum under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.
Jay was born July 11, 1938 at Vian, OK, the son of Frank and Leona (Wells) Pack and died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Muskogee. He attended and graduated from Warner High School. On June 20, 1958 he married Emilie Sartin at Warner. Prior to retirement, Jay worked as a machine shop and welding supervisor. He was a lifelong resident of the area.
Survivors include his wife, Emilie, of the home; daughter, Cindy LaBounty and husband, Rick, of Council Hill; two grandchildren, Rickey E. LaBounty of Council Hill, Robyn Watson and husband, Bob, of Sapulpa; two great-grandchildren, Libby and Mallory Watson of Sapulpa; three sisters, Mildred Burgess of Asbury, MO, Lois LeMaster of Flemington, MO, and Alma Webster of Galveston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jay and Eric Pack; four brothers, Lawrence, Clyde, James Alfred, and Fredrick Pack; three sisters, Mamie Reeves, Vera Johnson, and Rosemary Thomas.
