"Henry Filley, Jr., 71, east Kansas City, died Sept. 11, 1991, at Park Lane Medical Center. He was born in Leavenworth and moved to Kansas City 45 years ago. Mr. Filley was a member of Local 541 of the Teamsters union. He was a member of St Bernadette's Catholic Church. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Filley of the home; a son, James J. Filley of Kansas City; two daughters, Jacqueline S. Filley of Kansas City and Jean M. Taylor of Overland Park; two brothers, William R. Filley of Leavenworth and Donald L. Filley of Salem, Ore.; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church; burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association."
