John S. Bauman, 75, of 130 Seem St., Emmaus, died Friday in his home. He was the husband of Ella M. (Sittler) Bauman. They observed their 53rd wedding anniversary last March.
Bauman was a custodian for the East Penn School District for 18 years, retiring in 1976. Before that, he was a weaver for the former Widder Bros. Silk Mill, Emmaus, for many years.
Born in Alburtis, he was a son of the late John and Katie E. (Schrader) Bauman.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.
Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Lois E., wife of Richard Miller of Jupiter, Fla.; a sister, Leona M., wife of Paul Fegely of Emmaus, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Kulik-Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will precede the services.
