Tahlequah, OK- Graveside Services for Teddie Maxine Scott will be held at 2:00 pm Monday June 2, 2012 at the Moody's Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Estes officiating. Interment will follow under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah, OK.

Teddie Maxine Scott the daughter of Thomas J. and Elva Madge (Jordan) Brannan was born August 9, 1929 at her home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 31, 2012 in Colcord, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 22 days.

Maxine enjoyed life and loved her family. She was an avid basketball player in her younger years and enjoyed the game. She loved horses and livestock and loved to go camping. Maxine was a hard worker and had a heart for her family. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clyde Scott; her daughter Debra K. Kelley; and grandsons Tommy, Gene, Bobbie Lynn, Jamie Lee, and Nicholas.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her daughter Margaret Thompson and husband Marvin C. of West Siloam Springs; son-in-law Jim Kelley of Tahlequah; special daughter Sheryl Glory of Tahlequah; grandchildren Debbie Travis and husband Jeff of Tahlequah, Franklin Strong of Tahlequah, John Burns and wife Lisa of Sour Lake, TX, Marty Thompson and wife Andi of West Siloam Springs, Rhonda Weir and husband Bobby of Gentry, AR, and Marla Sappington husband John Siloam Springs, AR; great grandchildren Jason, Jarrett, Trey, Tommy, Nichole, Meaghan, Dillon, John T., Josh, Jared, Christopher, Hunter, McKenzie, Preslee, Koleson, Jeremy, Shawn, and Jeri Dean; great-great grandchildren Jayden, Lily, Macy, Mary, Bailey, Kiley, Kenlee, and Elijah. Many friends and other relatives also survive her.
