Mrs. Griffin Dies at Home of Daughter

Mrs. Mary Bell Griffin, 77, died Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kemp Casey (Myrtle Griffin) on South Main Street.
She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Kemp Casey, a son, U.G. Griffin, two granddaughters, Mrs. Vearl Lewis (Weir) of Hot Springs and Miss Charlotte Edwards (aka Merlow Kemp) of California.
Funeral will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Brother Lynn Browning in charge of services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Belle, as she was affectionately called was the daughter of Perry Miller and Elizabeth Griffin. She married James W. Griffin June 25, 1887 and together they had 3 children (that I know of): Clarence Griffin, Ulysses Grant Griffin and Myrtle Griffin.

She was my GGreat Grandmother.
