GARNER - Mrs. Dorothy Mae Garner, aged 64, of Rockford, passed away Saturday evening, June 9, 1990 at Butterworth Hospital.
She was the beloved mother of Mike Garner, Robert and Nancy Garner, Donald and Sherry Garner, Patricia Bruinekool; loving grandmother of nine grandchildren; sister of George and Virginia Dewey, Albert and Susan Dewey, Floyd and Norma Dewey, Gerald and Virginia Dewey, Ella Menzel, Gladys Garner, Marcella and Donald Postma, Betty Lou and Charles Rozell; sister-in-law of Leo Baweja; and aunt; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30pm at the VanStrien-Creston Chapel with interment in Cascade Township Cemetery. Mrs. Garner reposes at the chapel where relatives and friends may meet the family from 7 to 9pm on Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Tuesday. Contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
