Mrs. May (Moore) Schaulin, 71, of 607 Adams Street, died at 9:45 a.m. yesterday morning at the Holy Family Hospital after an illness of one year. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beige, she was born in Galena Township, La Porte County, on Dec. 3, 1873 and had lived there practically all her life. On Dec. 5, 1892 in LaPorte, she was married to Milroy Moore who died in 1928. She then married William Schaulin on Dec. 31, 1930 in North Liberty. She was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Gleaner Lodge of Rolling Priairie. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. M. L. Garwood and Mrs. Ben Cook, both of LaPorte; 3 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Ulrich, Hammond. Two brothers proceeded her in death. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Haverstock Chapel with the Rev. C. H. Lininger officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the chapel and until time of the funeral.
