Sunday afternoon, Joseph Herrynk and family of near Tobias, Nebraska, went out for a pleasure ride in a brand new Saxton-six, and had with them , Mrs. Barbora (Koran) Dlouhy, a grandmother of Mrs. Herrynk. Anton Herrynk, the father of Joseph Herrynk, and Frank Kottas. Mr Herrynk was driving at a forty-mile clip and when the car commenced to sway, he put on the brake suddenly, which caused the car to turn over twice, almost demolishing it The grandmother was the only one of the nine occupants, who was seriously hurt. The accident occurred near the Frank Capek home, one and one-half miles south and one mile west of Milligan, Nebraska.

Three physicians and other help was immediately called and the folks taken to the Herrynk home north of Tobias, Nebraska. The grandmother died about two hours after the accident happened. The deceased was born 12 July 1836 in Trtle, Bohemia. She was married to Joseph Dlouhy, and to their union were born two children, Adolph and Anna.
