Today's Old Town Cemetery was not established until 1844. This burial more likely in what the town of Sudbury now calls Revolutionary Cemetery which is across the street, estab. 1716.

Here is some additional military history for Capt. Aaron Haynes: Captain Haynes and his company of milita were in the battles of Lexington and Concord as well as the battle of Bunker Hill in the War of the Revolution. In the Battle of Bunker Hill Captain Haynes lost two men, Comming Forbush of Framingham and Joshua Haynes of Sudbury. Aaron also served in the Battles of Saratoga in New York.
He commanded the North Milita Company, West Side, a unit of 40 - 60 men. A muster Roll of Militia Company and part of an Alarm Company that marched to Cambridge by Concord on the Alarm on the nineteenth of April last under the command of Capt, Aaron Haynes of Sudbury and returning home (1775). This request was July 15, 1786 made to the Jonathan Pierce of the War Department of the Army and was signed by Mathias Mossman of East Sudbury who was the Administrator to Capt. Aaron Haynes.
