He was born in Imperial, Pa., and had lived in Lorain since 1948.
During World War II, Mr. Alloway served in the Marine Corps.
He was a member of Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 38 and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, both in Lorain.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Irene; sons, Allen, Ken and Larry, all of Lorain; daughter, Janet Ortiz of Lorain; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother.
