Funeral services were conducted for R. R. Berry, former sheriff and circuit clerk of Jefferson Davis county from the Prentiss Baptist church, by the Rev. H. M. Ellis, Columbia, assisted by the Revs. J. B. Quin and J. O. Buckley, of Prentiss. Mr. Berry died early Sunday morning in a Columbia hospital. He Is survived by three children, Mrs. Henry Harlin, Columbia; Jabus Berry, Memphis; Goodwin Berry, Helena, Ark.; two brothers, S. S. Berry, New Hebron; Ben Berry, Silver Creek; one sister, Mrs. Pat Cole, Silver Creek. Interment was made in the Prentiss cemetery.
