Dies in India Air Accident
Late Lt. Ramon E. Bring Made Childhood Home in Herman
Second Lt. Raymon E. Bring, 21, a former Herman resident, died in an airplane
crash in India on September 23, according to word received by his wife, Mrs.
Audrey Bring of Lyons.
In the service about 18 months, Lt. Bring took his basic training at Jefferson
Barracks, Mo., and Texas Army Air bases, was graduated from the Lubbock Field at
Lubbock, Tex., on March 12, 1944. Following a short period at Bowman Field,
Ky., he went overseas two months ago.
Lt. Bring spent his childhood in Herman at the J.W. Brunton home, but was
graduated from the Lyons high school. He is survived by his wife; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Bring, of Lyons; and two brothers, Pvt. Leonard Bring of
England and Pvt. Kenneth Bring in Texas.
Short memorial services in honor of Lt. Bring were held at the Herman Baptist
Sunday School, Sunday morning.
