Stacy Nell Nelson, 93 of Pascagoula, Mississippi died November 20, 2003 in Biloxi and had lived in the Pascagoula area since 1941. She was born March 28, 1910 in Jackson, Tennessee. Mrs. Nelson was a member of Eastlawn United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. She was employed with the BVD Plant for over 30 years. Mrs. Nelson enjoyed cooking, was "Grandmother" to many and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Isaac Lee & Sarah Jane Hawks, husband, A.H. Nelson, Jr. and son, Robert Earl "Speedy" Nelson.

Survivors include her son, Hearold Nelson of Biloxi, grandchildren, Elise Jones, Charles Nelson, Stacy McQuade, great-grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Bryan Jones, Hobie McQuade, Abby McQuade, Molly McQuade and Hardy McQuade, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Mississippi. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa. Pallbearers will be Mark McQuade, James McQuade, John W. Johnson, Sr., John W. Johnson, Jr., Tom Jones and Kevin Thompson. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Mississippi.
