Army Specialist William Emanuel, IV was killed in the Iraqui National Guard Headquarters when it came under a mortar attack. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.
Born in Indiana, he went to Stockton, CA at the age of 1. He graduated from One Enterprise in 2002 and enlisted in the service soon after his graduation, at the age of 17.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Emanuel; sister, Tiffany Emanuel, Navy Petty Officer 2nd class; grandparents, Joseph and Jean Travale of Reno, Nevada; aunt, Jean Shipley and husband Dewey, aunt, Cathy Hudlin and husband Jerry, uncle, David "Fish" all of Stockton; one uncle in Oklahoma and 2 aunts and uncles in Indiana.
