JOHN FARSON DIES AT NEBRASKA CITY HOSPITAL
John R. Farson, a resident of Nemaha County all of his lif died Sunday evening at a Nebraska City hospital at the age of 61.

A retired custodian in the Auburn school system, he was born at Nemaha, where he lived 33 years, then a resident of Brownville for 12 years before moving to Auburn.

He entered the hospital August 27 for minor surgery, but suffered a heart attack Sunday.

Survivors include his wife Myrtle, of Auburn; three sons, Melvin A. of Avenal, Calif., Darrel E. of Pasco, Wash. and Maynard, in the armed forces in Germany.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Nemaha Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Ward Merritt.

Burial was in Nemaha cemetery, with Caseys in charge of arrangements.
