E.C. was my great-grandfather. He was married to Florence Compton.

Family information states that E.C. was married a second time, sometime after Florence passed away in 1920.

Clinton, Oct. 19 -- E. C. Gillham, 59, died at his home at Lydia Mills following several weeks of illness.

A native of Georgia, Mr. Gillham had been a resident of this community for the past 18 years. He was a member of the Church of the Arisen Christ.

His wife, Mrs. Florence Compton Gillham died 22 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, C. E. Gillham, L. M. Gillham and C. B. Gilliam; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Tucker of Charleston, Mrs. Clayton Rushton and Miss Ella Fair Gillham.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the Clinton Prebysterian church with the Rev. Ray Williams and the Rev. J. S. Navy officiating. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.

Arrangements are in charge of Gray's funeral home of Clinton.
