Myrtle Louise Bowlin Campbell, 84 of McComb, died October 2, 2011 at Aston Court Retirement Village with her family by her side. She was born July 11, 1927 in McComb. She was the daughter of Burton and Myrtle Grandberry Bowlin. She was retired from Buffalo Services in McComb. She grew up attending and became a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and was currently a member of Felder's United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Scott Campbell and a daughter-in-law, Janice Campbell.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronnie Campbell of Tylertown and Chuck and Candy Campbell of Hattiesburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Don Honea of Magnolia; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Francis and Johnny Taylor of Gillsburg; six grandchildren and their spouses, Scott Campbell, Rhonda and Gaylon Mir and Erika and Bobby Berthelot, all of McComb, Kim and David Shumaker of Starkville, Jamie and Dana Fortinberry and Lee Honea, of Magnolia; a granddaughter-in-law, Cristy Campbell of McComb; 14 great-grandchildren, Kelly Campbell, Michael Campbell, Rebecca Campbell, Leslie Smith, Laura Smith, Andrew Mir, Mackenzie Mir, Isaac Shumaker, Kate Shumaker,Carroline Shumaker, Renee' Fortinberry, Logan Nunnery, Brantley Nunnery and Halle Berthelot; a special nephew, Dickie Taylor and other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb from 5PM until 7PM and Wednesday from 1PM until services at 2PM with Rev. David Shumaker and Rev. Skip Atchison officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Fortinberry, Scott Campbell, Lee Honea, Bobby Berthelot, Michael Campbell and Leslie Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Dickie Taylor.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Aston Court for their compassionate and loving care.
