ORA PARKER
Services were held March 19 at Church of the Nazarene, Brownfield, TX, for Ora Parker, 89, former resident of Davis. Bufford Battin officaited. Graveside services were held March 20 at Green Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jim House officiated.
Mre. Parker died March 17 following a lengthy illness. She was born in travis County, TX, Feb. 11,1896 and was reared around Davis. She married the late J. L. Parker in Davis December 28, 1914. They lived in this area until 1955.
Survivors are two sons, Clifford of Brownfield, and Charles of La Pine OR; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Crech of Claremare and Mrs. Louis Schultz of kansas City, MO; five brothers, one sister, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
