May Worley Of News Staff Dies
Exline Correspondent Taken At 63
May Conger Worley, life long resident of the Exline community and for many years the Iowegian correspondent there, died at her home in Exline Wednesday
night at 11 o'clock following a lingering illness. She was 63 years, 10 months and 27 days of age. A large number of friends and relatives mourn her passing.
She had been a member of the Iowegian "family" for many years and her death brings sorrow to those who worked with her.
Mrs. Worley was born near Exline December 25, 1886, and was the daughter of John and Rachel Conger.
She united in marriage with Mllford C. Worley March 10, 1907.
The deceased was a faithful member of the Seventh-Day Adventist church.
In death she is survived by her husband and by a nephew, Milbourne Worley, of Centerville, who was reared in the Worley home following the death of his
mother when he was a baby.
She also leaves a twin sister, Mrs. Myrtle Lyons, of California, who has been here for some time helping to care for Mrs. Worley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral home with the Elder Ervin Funk, of Ottumwa, officiating and burial will be In the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Cincinnati.
