Edna Pearle Brown, daughter of W. E. and Minnie Brown of Ladd, Ohio, born November 8th, 1901, passed sweetly into the arms of Jesus at 11:45 o'clock Saturday night, April 26th, 1924, being 22 years, 5 months and 18 days of age. She had been a patient sufferer for the past sixteen months and gladly welcomed the voice of the Master when he said, "Come." She was a most lovable girl, kind and considerate to all and loved and esteemed by all who knew her. Miss Brown gave her heart to Jesus more than two years ago and was buried with Him in baptism. She found enjoyment in his service and was always ready to own Him as her Savior. Her young Christian life has been an example to many others and will live and bear fruit long after she has gone. She leaves to mourn their loss her father, mother, brother Howard and sister Alice, uncles, aunts and cousins and a host of loving friends, who with aching hearts must each submit to the Master's will.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. I. Q. Morris. Burial in Mt. Joy cemetery.
