On Saturday, February 19, 1938, at 10:40 p.m., William S. Nicholson, brother of Samuel H. Nicholson, member of Bellevue Lodge No. 530, F. and A. M. Friends received at H. Samson's, 537 Neville street, where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment private.

Funeral services for William (Billy) Stryker Nicholson, 69, the first burgess of West View, were scheduled for 4 o'clock today at H. Samson's Funeral Home, 537 Neville Street, with burial in Homewood Cemetery.
Mr. Nicholson, burgess for 10 years, died Saturday in West Penn Hospital of pneumonia and heart trouble. For the last two years he had lived in the North Side Y.M.C.A.
Born in Trenton, N.J., he came to Pittsburgh in 1886 and entered the printing business with a brother, Samuel H. Nicholson, his only survivor. He was a life member of the Bellevue Lodge, F. & A. M.
