Herman H. Leseberg, 77, died here Monday at his home, 408 Center.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. from Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. W. R. Mauer officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery northeast of Bremen, with arrangements by Kinsley.
The son of Fredrich and Maria Schotte Leseberg, he was born Feb. 18, 1898, near Bremen. He spent his lifetime in the Bremen, Herkimer and Marysville communities. Prior to his retirement he had worked as a carpenter.
He married Loretta Crome and they were the parents of one son and two daughters. His second marriage was to Sophia Blanke. His third marriage was to Dora Dierking.
Leseberg was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, and of the local LLL Men’s Club.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his three wives, three brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
Survivors are his children, Mrs. Richard (Edna) Stohs of Marysville, Wilfred Leseberg of Herkimer and Miss Lela Leseberg of Arvada, Colo.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Louis Leseberg of Wymore and Edward Leseberg of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Alvina Knabe and Mrs. Louise Holle, both of Odell.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jim Leseberg, Roger Leseberg, Lyle Stohs, Lynn Stohs, Jerry Weiche, and Tom Reeves.
