Noel "Buddy" Shelton was born to George W. and Josephine Anise Griffin Shelton in Mississippi. He married Rosalia "Rosie" Catherine Brun in Conway, Faulkner Co., AR on Aug. 24, 1913. Buddy and Rosie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August 1963 at the Ross Van Ness homeplace.
Buddy died in Chicot Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack following earlier hospitalization for a stroke. He was 80 yr, 11 mo old at his death and survived by 4 daughters: Josephine, Irene, Flora and Margie and 3 sons: William "Bill", Casper Clyde "Pat" and Kenneth.
