EX-LEGISLATOR DIES
Rites at Brunswick, Mo. for Lewis E Merrill
Brunswick, Mo May 9-----
Lewis E. Merrill, 76, former prosecuting attorney of Chariton County, died here today.
Mr.Merrill, who had been a lawyer here most of his life and a former member of the board of education was a member of the state Legislature from 1947 to 1951.
He leaves his wife, Mrs John Rucker Merrill of the home; a son, Wayne R Merrill, 7701 East One hundred eleventh terrace, Ruskin Heights, and two daughters, Mrs. F B Kirpatrick, 620 East One hundred ninth terrace, Kansas City, and Mrs. O O Humo, Grandview.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday at the Brunswick Christian church. Cremation will follow, and entombment will be in the Mount Moriah cemetery in Kansas City.
