KING, NC ~ Geraldine Frye Boyles, 71, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side on Saturday, June 13, 2009. She was born November 22, 1937 in Stokes County to Walter Lee and Bessie Vaden Frye. Surviving are her husband, H. Donald Boyles; two daughters, Robin and Lori Boyles, both of Cary; and one son, Jeffrey Boyles of King; two grandchildren, Jaime and Alex Boyles; and one brother, Carl Frye of King. She was preceded in death by six brothers; and six sisters. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Goodman and the Rev. Randy Storz officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, Monday, June 15, at Mount Olive Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church, 5143 NC Hwy. 66 S., King, NC 27021. (Slate Funeral Home)
