He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Earl Altman.
David enjoyed everything outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and NASCAR. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Altman is survived by three sons, Timothy Altman of Aiken, Thomas Becker and Christopher Jordan both of KY; one daughter, Kaytlin Murphy of Conway; one brother, John Henry Altman and many other family and friends who will miss him.
The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. J. T. Adams and Rev. Sinclair Grate officiating.
Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
