Frank was born in Blue Mound, the son of Henry and Henrietta Brooks Ambers. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a retired interior decorator. He married Beatrice L. Fenton in Clinton on Nov. 29, 1917.
He is survived by his wife and sisters, Mrs. Stella Teele of Springfield and Mrs. Minnie Schweitzer of Litchfield.
