She was born on August 2, 1937, at Lafayette, the daughter of Frank and Jewell V. Menefee; she graduated from Wolcott High School in 1955.
Mrs. Terrell worked at Purdue University for more than 30 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 57 Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf and bowling and was a Purdue Boilermaker and Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include her mother, Jewell Menefee of Fowler, two daughters; Becky (Mike) Hardebeck of Fowler and Traci Terrell of Lafayette; one stepson, Randy (Tari) Terrell of Lafayette; four grandchildren: Josh Hardebeck of Lafayette, Ted (Amy) Hardebeck of Earl Park, Michelle Hardebeck and Jamey Hardebeck, both of Fowler; and four great-grandchildren: Bylan, Michael, Alexi, and Quentin. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services were Friday, August 13 with Pastor Peggy Good officiating; interment was at Boswell Cemetery with arrangements by Windler Funeral Home, Fowler. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Transit, Area 4 Agency, P.O. Box 4727, Lafayette, IN 47903.
