Son of William C Haight & Mary Toucey Clark Haight. Husband of Myra Gladys Gilmore Haight.

Alton and Myra married 21 Jan 1918 • Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

In 1920 they were living in Manhattan, but by 1925 they had moved to Massapequa, Nassau County, New York, on Seaman's Neck Road, and they lived there together until Alton died. She stayed at their home at least until 1950.

Alton went to Columbia College and studied architecture. He worked as an architect until his death, it appears. His obituary also notes he was a widely known authority on Colonial silverware.

He belonged to many societies, as noted in his obituary which was published in the "Times Union" in
Brooklyn, New York · Saturday, May 29, 1937.

There were no children of the marriage.
