Janet Johnson Hodges, 76, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Logan, Utah, to Parnell Johnson and Letha Weston Johnson. She spent her youth growing up in Laketown, Utah. After her graduation from North Rich High School, she married Dee Hodges on July 3, 1953, in Laketown. Janet and Dee lived a short time in Grantsville, Utah, and then moved to Logan, Utah, so that Dee could continue his education. Janet and Dee returned to Laketown where they continued to work and raise their family. During that time she worked at several of the local businesses. In 1975 Dee and Janet purchased her father's business, Johnson's Service, changed the name to Dee's Super Service and continued the family legacy. She enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, fishing, watching NASCAR racing and winters in Mesquite.

Janet is survived by her three children, Jeff and Denise Hodges of Sandy, Utah, Janiece and Dan Tyler of Montpelier, Idaho, and Dennis and Kris Hodges of Laketown, Utah; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dee Hodges, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, May 31, 2012, in the Laketown LDS chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Laketown Cemetery. Funeral Services are under the direction of Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, Idaho.
