Funeral sevices for Marjorie Hostettter, 84, of Gillette will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Gillette with the Rev. Mark Jervis officiating.
Burial at Mount Pisgah Cemetery will follow the service.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Hostetter died Monday, April 22, 2002, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes.
She was born June 21, 1917, in Gillette to Glen and Barbara (Jones) Cruzen. She was raised and educated in Gillette, graduating from Campbell County High School in 1936. In 1938, she married Robert Harper.
On June 6, 1950, she married Vernon "Ike" Hostetter. They lived in Cheyenne, Douglas, Glenrock and Gillette, following the oil business.
In 1954 they moved to Gillette, where they have lived since.
She taught Sunday school at Fist Baptist Church and was a Brownie leader.
Mrs. Hostetter is survived by her son, Robert Harper of Gillette; her daughter, Barbara Meyer of Gillette; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren an two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preaceded in death by her husband; parents and one brother, Edwin.
A memorial has been established to benefit the Oncology Center, Northeast Wyoming Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
