Loretta was born June 17, 1913 in Talco, Tx, to Lewis Marvin and Ola Mae (Fry) Johnson. Loretta married Frank William Gamble on December 13, 1929 in Turkey. Mrs. Gamble was known all over Brisco County as the cook at Agnes's Café and the matriarch of a large and significant family that will miss her dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Silverton.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Gamble, three sons; Eston Gamble, Ralph Gamble, Tim Gamble, a daughter Nadyne Gamble Childress, a sister, and three brothers.
She is survived by three sons; Adron Gamble and wife Pam of Kress, Stanley Gamble and wife Frances of Silverton, Dan Gamble and wife Jackie of Gladwater, Tx, four daughters; Elayne Gamble of Kilgore, Tx, Norma Sue McDowell of Pleasanton, Tx, Evelyn Warren of Gladewater, Tx, and Shirley Aldridge of Sand Flat, Tx, one brother; Donald Johnson, a sister; Dorothy McKnight, 31 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, 50 great great grandchildren, and 8 great great great grandchildren.
