In a Nashville City Directory for 1872, Sarah was listed as "widow of John" and was living with a son and two grandsons who were working for the railroad. No gravestone or burial place has been found for either John or Sarah (Ditto) Gollithan.

(Gollithan) Ragsdale, is buried in Franklin County, Tennessee. The grave of their brother, Martin Gollithan has not been found.
