Anna (Ana) Obreza was born in Begunje, Slovenia in 1894. At that time, it was part of Austria/Hungary. She came to the U.S. at the age of 17. in 1911. She worked off her passage, as a cook in a lumber camp in Davis, WV. Afterwards, she moved to Cleveland, OH; where she met & married Andrew (Andrej) Bole in 1913. They had two children, Andrew Jr. and Anne. She & Andrew divorced in 1928. She then married Charles (Charlie) Pisansky, and moved to a farm. She died of a pulmonary embolism in 1952.
